SMRT Bus Service 110 is a trunk service operating between Buangkok and Changi Airport via Sengkang West. The route commenced operations on 22 October 2017, serving the then new Changi Airport Terminal 4 which opened on 31 October 2017.
Bus Service 110 is a trunk service from Buangkok to Changi Airport, mainly serving residential estates in Sengkang and transfer passengers at Tampines Expressway (Bef / Aft Punggol Rd) Transfer Stop with direct connections to Changi Airport and vice versa. The route complements the existing Service 858 for the key link between the TPE (Punggol) Transfer Stop and Changi Airport, via a long express sector along TPE and PIE. On the other hand, Service 27 and 34 between TPE and Changi Airport takes a longer route through Tampines.
The route also calls at Changi Airport Terminal 4 Bus Stand in addition to the basement bus stands of three existing terminals, joining Service 24, 34 and 36 at the then newly-opened Terminal 4. It also serves neighbourhood amenities such as Sengkang Sports Complex and Sengkang General Hospital.
The route commenced operations on Sunday, 22 October 2017, a week before Terminal 4’s official opening date of 31 October 2017. It is the second SMRT Busesbus service after Service 858 to serve Changi Airport.
Service 110 is the second service to operate out of Compassvale Bus Interchange, after Service 374. With the closure of Compassvale Int from 1 Dec 2024, Service 110 was amended to Buangkok Int.
Changi Airport:
Service 110 serves Changi Airport Terminals 3, 1, 2 & 4 in order.
Changi Airport Passenger Terminal Buildings (PTBs) 1, 2 and 3 have their bus stops integrated into their basement levels, which also serves as a cargo loading and unloading bay. Security checks for any unattended or suspicious articles are carried out before a bus enters Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Bus Captains may take a short toilet break at Terminal 2. Because of height restrictions, double-decker buses are unable to enter Changi Airport basement.
Occasionally when Changi Airport basement is closed, buses will be diverted to T1/T2/T3 Departure Drive where a temporary bus stop will be set up.
Announcements for passengers to inform the Bus Captain if they see any suspicious person or article are played onboard public buses at Changi Airport as well.

A seconder, it is the second bus at Compassvale int (first is 374) and the second SMRT bus at Changi Airport (first is 858, assuming it is pre-TTS takeover) The second one may be the reason why 110 is SMRT. (though now that 858 has gone to TTS, might as well give 110 to SBST
I believe it’s just a nego contract until 2023 unless LTA have plan to extend 110 to Woodlands area.Doesn’t make sense when you already know the dead mileage.LTA simply want all 4 operators serving CGA?Might as well introduce one new service from Gali Batu via BPJ/CCK to CGA.

this bus so weird SBS Transit is the right operator for this bus. Same goes for 79 and 825
I hope they add A24s to 110.

Wow, It’s pretty nice to see that they transferred the 13 SG Citaro’s over to WLDEP.
Interesting.
