Note: Free Wi-Fi for Bukit Merah Bus Package bus services ceased in Mid-August 2022.
Say goodbye to your data woes as Free Wi-Fi will be rolled out on 18 SBS Transit Bus Services from February 2019!
Singapore’s public buses have been becoming increasingly commuter-friendly as new features are added to our ride. Newer buses on the road are already equipped with USB Charging Ports for easy recharging of mobile devices on the go, and the incoming batches of buses are equipped with Passenger Information Display Systems. With the introduction of free Wi-Fi, commuters can stay connected to social media and entertainment platforms or do work on the go without worrying about data usage!
As announced at the Ulu Pandan Bus Depot Carnival in collaboration with StarHub, Bus Services under the Bukit Merah Bus Package will have free Wi-Fi services available. The bus services are: 5, 16, 57, 93*, 120, 121, 122, 123/123M, 131/131M, 145, 160, 170/170A/170X, 195, 198, 272*, 273, 400, 402.
