Jurong Town Hall Bus Interchange (final name to be confirmed) is an upcoming bus interchange in Jurong East. It is scheduled for completion and opening in the 2nd Quarter of 2023.
The interchange is located along Venture Avenue, adjacent to Vision Exchange, The JTC Summit, and Jurong Town Hall, and within walking distance of Jurong East MRT Station and International Business Park. It will complement a host of new infrastructure developments being planned as part of the wider Jurong Lake District.
This bus interchange will complement the relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange, and eventually the Jurong East Integrated Transport Hub (projected opening 2027) at Jurong Gateway Road.
This bus interchange is located at 1A Venture Drive, Singapore 609770. The anchor operator will be Tower Transit Singapore Pte Ltd, as the awarded operator for the Bulim Bus Package (2021 – 2026).

Construction
On 12 July 2019, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) called a tender for Proposed Design and Construction of Bus Interchange & Associated Works at Venture Drive (Reference PT375), which is scheduled for completion by 2023. The contract was awarded to Tat Hin Builders Pte Ltd on 16 March 2020 for a sum of $19.73 million.
The new bus interchange would serve to boost the public transport network in Jurong East as part of the wider Jurong Lake District, envisioned as the second Central Business District in Singapore. Increased human traffic in the area, brought about by the new High-Speed Rail station (cancelled) and future commercial and residential developments, necessitated a new bus interchange to spread out passenger numbers and avoid heavy congestion at a single bus interchange. The existing interim Jurong East Bus Interchange was,
Bus interchanges in Jurong East have undergone several changes since the first interchange opened in 1985 and closed in 2011, moving to a temporary interchange nearby. The site of the old interchange was expected to be redeveloped into a new Integrated Transport Hub (ITH), but a change of plans ensued that would relocate the ITH to a new MOT-LTA building located at the site of the temporary interchange. A new interim Jurong East Bus Interchange, which opened in 2020 and replaced the first temporary interchange, was too small to accommodate all existing bus services and resulted in Bus Services 78 and 79 having to terminate at Jurong Gateway Road, with layovers performed at Ulu Pandan Bus Depot (with dead mileage incurred as a result).
While the future bus interchange at Venture Drive is expected to be completed by 2023, the ITH at Jurong Gateway Road is scheduled to take four years longer.

Back to Bus Interchanges and Terminals
MAybe all CWs can move here and make this like PGP and Little India bus terminal: only have private operators
TTS>78,79 and a new feeder.
CW>All here.
SBST>160/M.
This bus interchange can be replaced with another Integrated Transport Hub next to the JE6 Jurong Town Hall station, which is just further south from this bus interchange, in the future.
This is especially when JE6 Jurong Town Hall station is nolonger expecting a High Speed Rail station already (thus, there is space available to build integrated transport hub), and the authorities can plan an integrated transport hub to complement the future developments around JE6 Jurong Town Hall station.
51 could go here and 78 could go to the int or vice versa
I think Venture Dr is permanent supplement Int even though JE ITH open.It can inhouse the cross-border service and termination point for long haul service from East/Northeast in future.Heard the planning for the new ITH is just slightly bigger than the 1st temporary Int.
