PT212 – Jurong West Bus Package (Negotiated Contract Term: 2016 to 2024):
In the full industry transition to the Bus Contracting Model effective September 2016, LTA entered into a Negotiated Contract with SBS Transit. This arrangement permitted SBS Transit to continue operating bus services under the Jurong West Bus Package until the package could be tendered out. This arrangement would eventually last for 8 years, with a Tendered Contract term to start in September 2024.
