Serangoon–Eunos Bus Package put up for Tender

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has called a tender for the Serangoon–Eunos Bus Package on 19 December 2025, under Contract BC802Bus Contracting – Serangoon-Eunos Bus Package.

As part of the Bus Contracting Model implemented in 2016, the LTA entered into a Negotiated Contract with SBS Transit to operate bus services under the Serangoon–Eunos Bus Package for an initial 9-year duration, ending in 2025. In November 2021, this contract was further extended for an undisclosed duration, as part of an LTA–SBS Transit Framework Agreement that saw the Downtown Line transition to the New Rail Financing Framework (Version 2). This extended duration is now confirmed to be 1 year and 9 months, with the start of the new Tendered Package term in June 2027.

Assuming SBST loses this package, will the Scanias end up like SMRT Jurong West and GAS Tampines where they are used only for a few months before swapping them for MAN A22/Citaro/OCs(low chance but given both SMRT and TTS have that it is possible)? Will the ADLs also have a chance to be debut in this package? Last I checked KCD won’t have electric chargers, so while SMRT/TTS are replacing their diesel SDs for B12/N12, will the OCs come to this package?

    Predictions :
    1. TTS to win this package, but loses either Mandai or Bulim.
    2. SBST to retain but loses Clementi package later to TTS
    3. (Lower chance) SMRT to win, 110 will join Serangoon-Eunos Bus package. Might lose Woodlands to SBST later but low chance even if SMRT awards

What nonsense u talking about. Government already published the services under this contract. 110 isn’t included.

110 will be going back to sk-hg package anyways, once Tampines hand over to GAS and SWDEP is able to free up space by transferring out the Bedok package services back to BNDEP

ok im not exactly sure abt smrt if it wins, but it made more sense for 110 to go sk-hg package.. but 110 is under smrt, so how?

I think what Kok Yong means is that the mentioned services except 506 which is not included in the package can do dual depot
