The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has called a tender for the Serangoon–Eunos Bus Package on 19 December 2025, under Contract BC802Bus Contracting – Serangoon-Eunos Bus Package.

As part of the Bus Contracting Model implemented in 2016, the LTA entered into a Negotiated Contract with SBS Transit to operate bus services under the Serangoon–Eunos Bus Package for an initial 9-year duration, ending in 2025. In November 2021, this contract was further extended for an undisclosed duration, as part of an LTA–SBS Transit Framework Agreement that saw the Downtown Line transition to the New Rail Financing Framework (Version 2). This extended duration is now confirmed to be 1 year and 9 months, with the start of the new Tendered Package term on 27 June 2027.

In my honest opinion I hope SBS Transit retains it or at least TTS wins it

TTS may not have the capacity to manage operations beyond its current scale. If TTS wins this bus package, it will probably have to give up one of its two existing bus packages. The Bulim package seems the more likely one, as it will soon be operating from a new depot, making a change of operator easier from a logistical point of view.

That said, if it’s meant to happen, then so be it. The area is already served by many SMRT-operated train services and SBS Transit-operated bus services. Having a small TTS presence would add a bit more variety and make the transport scene feel more diverse and lively.

SMRT hard to win cause they already operate Gali Batu with more EV facilities unless this coming Sept LTA decide to award CCK/BPJ to TTS and all operators has EV facilities and staff dormitories. Its either SBST retain or TTS wins. Again Sengkang West is already operated by SBST.Didnt LTA announced that the future will be 2 diesel bus and 1 EV buses ratio? Bulim and Loyang electric charger is only around 15 units the most and these two depots will be demolished once Tengah and Lor Halus is ready. Go-Ahead already get East Coast.

I think OP mean 61/67/110 and 105/154 can do dual depot on Kim Chuan, and Soon Lee respectively to reduce dead mileage if SMRT win the bid for Serangoon-Eunos BCM.
