Bus Services 49, 66, 66B, 160, 160A, 160M & 506 will serve the relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange instead of the existing Jurong East Temporary Bus Interchange from 6 December 2020.
Causeway Link Bus Service CW3, CW4 & CW4S
Causeway Link Bus Services CW3, CW4 & CW4S will start and terminate at the Jurong East Private Bus Pick Up Point along Venture Avenue when bus services resume. These cross border services are currently suspended due to the Malaysia Movement Control Order.
Long walk from new interchange to Jem & Westgate. Previously was so convenient.
Miss the original jurong east bus int. It was a huge proper bus interchange.
The 78 routing is the one that has raised the biggest concern on how this bus service would operate. From what I see, I believe this bus service will still use the Jurong East second temporary bus interchange the parking lots. It is only because due to the lack of boarding space, and got possibility is traffic flow consideration, this bus service can only use the nearby bus stop to pick up passengers and let passengers alight. This is probably already the most logical guess regarding 78 the operations when the Jurong East second temporary bus interchange replaces the first temporary bus interchange that time. Actual situation, would have to observe.
Wondering if the current one berth in BLBI for 79 is sufficient for this? Otherwise, make 30 return back their 3rd slot?

Its a pity of how everything is messed up with LTA planning. Things were so well done in the past.
Yeah… Especially 78 and 79 left out… Won’t be surprised if 78 and 79 commuters start to complain about the arrangement as they will no longer have sheltered access to Jurong East station (except 78 return trip)
-from interchange to library have sheltered access
-if only they build temporary shelter from library entrance to the bus stop outside library, it will be good
then 78 79 commuters will have fully sheltered access from MRT but must walk way longer from exit B
i rather walk to the bus stop outside library from MRT via outside JCube to take 78 79 instead of the blk 131 bus-stop (aka 1st bus-stop for 78)
