Service 2A (2nd Gen) (12 Mar 2018 – 22 Sep 2023): Kampong Bahru Ter → New Upp Changi Rd (Tanah Merah Stn Exit B)
- Short Trip 2A supplemented high peak hour demand on its parent service and the East-West Line between Outram Park and Tanah Merah, providing alternative travel options to the rail network to improve the resilience of public transport. With the gradual improvement in rail reliability, it was discontinued in 2023.
Service 3B (19 Oct 2003 – 2 Sep 2016): Pasir Ris Dr 1 (Blk 738) → Pasir Ris Int
- Short Trip 3B catered to high peak hour demand between Pasir Ris West and Pasir Ris Town Centre. It was discontinued when its parent service was transferred to Go-Ahead Singapore under the Loyang Bus Package in 2016.
Service 33B (1st Gen) (9 Aug 2009 – 2016): Bedok Int → Joo Chiat Rd (Aft Tembeling Rd)
- The 1st generation of Short Trip 33B operated during the 1st and 15th days of the lunar calendar if they fall on a Sunday or Public Holiday, catering to the higher demand from devotees of the Kuan Im Tng Tp along Tembeling Road on those days.
Service 43A (1st Gen) (23 Jul 2012 – 15 Nov 2014): Buangkok Green (Blk 565) → S’oon Ctrl (S’goon Stn Exit C/Blk 201)
- The 1st generation of Short Trip 43A catered to the high peak hour demand between Buangkok Green and Serangoon MRT station, before being replaced by full day supplementary Bus Service 43M under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP) in 2014.
Services 53A (1st Gen) & 53B (27 Feb 2012 – 14 Aug 2015): Hougang Ave 1 (Opp Blk 232) → S’goon Ctrl (Blk 261) / S’goon Ctrl (Blk 206) → Hougang Ave 1 (Blk 232)
- The 1st generation of Short Trip 53A and Short Trip 53B catered to the high outbound and inbound peak hour demand between Hougang Avenue 1 / Lorong Ah Soo and Serangoon MRT station, before being replaced by full day supplementary Bus Service 53M under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP) in 2015.
Service 55A (16 Sep 2001 – 8 Apr 2017): Bishan Int → Marine Parade Rd (Victoria Sch)
- Introduced when Bus Service 55 was amended to loop at Siglap Road following the closure of Marine Parade Bus Terminal in 2001, Short Trip 55A operated halfway trips from Bishan which terminated at Marine Parade, catering to late-night unidirectional demand.
- After Bus Service 55 was extended to Upper East Coast Bus Terminal in 2017, these trips were reverted back to their parent service.
Service 63A (2nd Gen) (11 Apr 2021 – 25 Oct 2025): Eunos Int → Jln Rumah Tinggi (Opp Blk 36)
- Re-numbered from existing halfway trips of Bus Service 63 from Eunos to Jalan Rumah Tinggi, it catered to late-night unidirectional demand.
- After Bus Service 63 was converted to a bi-directional route in 2025, these trips were reverted back to their parent service.
Service 66A (2000 – 26 May 2021): Bedok Int → Bt Timah Rd (Little India Stn Exit A)
- Short Trip 66A catered to high demand between Bedok Town Centre, Bedok Reservoir, Kaki Bukit, Ubi and MacPherson Estate to the cultural district of Little India on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. However, its demand has diminished with the opening of the Downtown Line Stage 3 in 2017, which led to its eventual discontinuation following the commencement of the 2nd term for the Bulim Bus Package in 2021.
Service 66B (2000 – 26 May 2021): Jurong East Int → S’goon Rd (Tekka Ctr)
- Short Trip 66B catered to high demand between Jurong East Town Centre, Bukit Batok and Bukit Timah to the cultural district of Little India on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. However, its demand has diminished with the opening of the Downtown Line Stage 2 in 2015, which led to its eventual discontinuation following the commencement of the 2nd term for the Bulim Bus Package in 2021.
Service 66C (31 May 2021 – 10 Dec 2021): Jurong East Int → Jln Jurong Kechil (Opp Beauty World Stn)
- Introduced as part of changes during the commencement of the 2nd term for the Bulim Bus Package, Short Trip 66C catered to high peak hour demand between Jurong East Town Centre, Bukit Batok and Beauty World MRT station.
- After Bus Service 66 was shortened to loop at Beauty World under the Downtown Line 3 Bus Rationalisation, these trips were reverted back to their parent service.
Service 67W (2003 – 4 Apr 2021): Tampines Int → Bt Timah Rd (Little India Stn Exit A)
- Short Trip 67W catered to high demand from both Choa Chu Kang / Bukit Timah and Tampines / Bedok / Geylang to the cultural district of Little India on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays when first introduced.
- With the opening of the Downtown Line Stage 2 in 2015, its route from Choa Chu Kang / Bukit Timah to Little India was discontinued to reduce duplication with the new MRT line.
- After Bus Service 67 was amended to serve the upgraded Upper Bukit Timah Road in 2021, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) silently discontinued the remaining trips between Tampines and Little India.
Service 75A (29 Jul 2013 – 9 Apr 2021): W’lands Rd (Aft KJE Slip Rd) → Clementi Rd (Opp SIM HQ)
- Short Trip 75A catered to high peak hour demand from students between Bukit Panjang and the academic belt along Clementi Road.
- After Bus Service 75 was amended to serve the upgraded Upper Bukit Timah Road in 2021, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) silently discontinued the short trip.
Service 76A (16 Sep 2001 – 19 Mar 2016): Yio Chu Kang Int → Marine Terr (Opp CHIJ Katong Convent)
- Introduced when Bus Service 76 was amended to loop at Siglap Road following the closure of former Marine Parade Bus Terminal in 2001, Short Trip 76A operated halfway trips from Yio Chu Kang which terminated at Marine Parade, catering to late-night unidirectional demand.
- When Bus Service 76 was shortened to loop at Marine Terrace in 2011, the short trip was adjusted to terminate at the new looping point of its parent service along Marine Terr, continuing to serve late-night unidirectional demand.
- After Bus Service 76 was shortened to Eunos Bus Interchange in 2016 with the introduction of new Bus Service 134 under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP), these trips were reverted back to their parent service.
Service 79A (12 Jun 2016 – 25 May 2024): Boon Lay Int → Jurong Town Hall Rd (Jurong East Lib)
- Re-numbered from existing halfway trips of Bus Service 79 from Jurong East to Boon Lay when Tower Transit Singapore took over the service under the Bulim Bus Package in 2016, it catered to late-night unidirectional demand.
- When Bus Service 79 was rerouted to start from Boon Lay and loop at Jurong East MRT station due to insufficient parking space in the relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange in 2020, the short trip was also adjusted to terminate at the new looping point of its parent service along Jurong Town Hall Road, continuing to serve late-night unidirectional demand.
- After Bus Service 79 was amended to Jurong Town Hall Bus Interchange in 2024, these trips were reverted back to their parent service, operating with a “T” suffix to denote that they end at Boon Lay.
Service 84A (16 Aug 2024 – 11 Apr 2025): Punggol Int → New Punggol Rd (Punggol Coast Stn)
- Short Trip 84A catered to high peak hour demand from students between Punggol Town Centre and the new Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) campus in Punggol Coast, and was subsequently discontinued in 2025 following the opening of Punggol Coast MRT station.
Service 92A (1st Gen) (2001 – 24 Nov 2023): Ghim Moh Ter → Science Pk Dr → Ghim Moh Rd (Blk 13)
- The 1st generation of Short Trip 92A catered to high peak hour demand between S’pore Science Pk I and Buona Vista MRT station, and were subsequently discontinued with the frequency enhancement for its parent Bus Service 92 in 2023.
Service 92B (1st Gen) (26 Nov 2007 – 25 Nov 2023): Ghim Moh Ter → Science Pk Dr (Opp Normanton Pk/R’ford)
- The 1st generation of Short Trip 92B catered to high peak hour demand between Buona Vista MRT station and S’pore Science Pk I and operated as halfway trips to cater to unidirectional demand in the evening, before being subsequently discontinued with the frequency enhancement for its parent Bus Service 92 in 2023.
Service 117B (11 Mar 2019 – 27 Mar 2020): Sembawang Int → Yishun Ave 2 (Opp Yishun Stn)
- Short Trip 117B catered to high peak hour demand between Sembawang, Canberra and Yishun. With its declining demand following the opening of Canberra MRT station, the short trip was discontinued in 2020.
Service 130A (2000 – 18 Apr 2021): Ang Mo Kio Int → Sin Ming Rd (Blk 25)
- Short Trip 130A operated during the Ching Ming period and on Vesak Day, catering to the higher demand from devotees of the Bright Hill Tp along Sin Ming Avenue on those occasions, before being discontinued several months before the opening of Bright Hill MRT station in 2021.
Service 135A (16 Sep 2001 – 27 Feb 2021): Ang Mo Kio Int → Marine Parade Rd (Victoria Sch)
- Introduced when Bus Service 135 was amended to loop at Siglap Road following the closure of Marine Parade Bus Terminal in 2001, Short Trip 135A operated halfway trips from Ang Mo Kio which terminated at Marine Parade, catering to late-night unidirectional demand.
- After Bus Service 135 was amended to terminate at Kembangan MRT station in 2021, these trips were reverted back to their parent service.
Service 138B (19 Oct 2015 – 14 Mar 2025): Ang Mo Kio Int → Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 (Opp Blk 604)
- Short Trip 138B catered to high peak hour demand between Ang Mo Kio Town Centre and Ang Mo Kio New Town N1/N6. However, its demand has diminished with the opening of Lentor MRT station in 2021, leading to its discontinuation following the commencement of the 2nd term for the Seletar Bus Package in 2025.
Service 139A (1st Gen) (27 Aug 2012 – 12 Sep 2014): Toa Payoh Int → Kim Keat Rd (Opp Jumbo Ind Bldg)
- The 1st generation of Short Trip 139A catered to the high peak hour demand between Toa Payoh Town Centre and St. Michael’s Estate, before being replaced by full day supplementary Bus Service 139M under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP) in 2014.
Service 155A (16 Sep 2001 – 8 Apr 2017): Toa Payoh Int → Marine Parade Rd (Victoria Sch)
- Introduced when Bus Service 155 was amended to loop at Siglap Road following the closure of Marine Parade Bus Terminal in 2001, Short Trip 155A operated halfway trips from Toa Payoh which terminated at Marine Parade, catering to late-night unidirectional demand.
- After Bus Service 155 was extended to Bedok Bus Interchange in 2017, these trips were reverted back to their parent service.
Service 170A (27 Dec 2015 – 30 Apr 2022): Queen St Ter ↔ W’lands Ctr Rd
- Short Trip 170A supplemented high peak hour demand on its parent service and the Downtown Line between Bukit Panjang and Rochor, providing alternative travel options to the rail network to improve the resilience of public transport. With the reduced passenger demand on its parent service during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was suspended in 2021.
- In April 2022, the short trip was briefly reactivated to operate the local sectors of Bus Service 170 in both directions, while the Land Transport Authority (LTA) negotiated with the Malaysian government over the resumption of cross-border bus services.
Service 177A (17 Dec 2012 – 27 May 2016): Bt Batok Int → Jelebu Rd (Bt Panjang Plaza)
- Introduced when Bus Service 177 was amended to loop at Jelebu Road following the closure of the former Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange in 2012, Short Trip 177A operated halfway trips from Bukit Batok which terminated at Bukit Panjang, catering to unidirectional peak hour demand.
- After Bus Service 177 was transferred to Tower Transit Singapore under the Bulim Bus Package in 2016, the new operator converted these former halfway trips from Bukit Batok into full looping trips.
Service 195B (20 Jun 2015 – 26 Oct 2018): Marina Ctr Ter → C’wealth Ave (C’wealth Stn Exit B / C)
- Short Trip 195B catered to high unidirectional demand from Marina Centre to Commonwealth MRT station during off peak periods daily, eliminating the need for the operator to run full looping trips in the return direction.
Service 265A (6 Jan 2017 – 9 Mar 2018): Ang Mo Kio Int ↺ Ang Mo Kio Ave 10
- Re-numbered from Peak Period Short Service (PPSS) 265P introduced under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP), Short Trip 265A supplemented high peak hour demand between Ang Mo Kio Town Centre and N4/N5 of Ang Mo Kio Town. Under the 1st term of the Seletar Bus Package in 2018, these supplementary trips were integrated into the parent service.
Service 860A (25 May 2015 – 13 Oct 2017): Yishun Temp Int → Yishun Ring Rd (Khatib Stn Exit D)
- Short Trip 860A catered to high peak hour demand between Yishun Ring Road and Khatib MRT station.
- When Bus Service 860 was extended to Yio Chu Kang and bypassed Khatib MRT station in the process in 2017, a new Feeder Bus Service 807 was launched under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP), which subsequently inherited the short trip as new Short Trip 807A.
Service 870A (26 Nov 2023 – 20 Jul 2024): Jurong Town Hall Int → Tengah Blvd (Blk 231B)
- Introduced when Bus Service 870 initially looped at Plantation Crescent and later Tengah Boulevard in 2023, Short Trip 870A operated halfway trips from Jurong Town Hall which terminated at Tengah, catering to late-night unidirectional demand.
- After Bus Service 870 was amended to Tengah Bus Interchange in 2024, these trips were reverted back to their parent service.
Service 883A (1 Jun 2018 – 31 Dec 2020): Sembawang Int → Canberra Way (Blk 129A)
- Short Trip 883A catered to late-night unidirectional demand between Sembawang Town Centre and the new Canberra estate on the eves of major public holidays (Christmas, New Year’s Day and Lunar New Year), until its discontinuation when Tower Transit Singapore took over its parent service under the Sembawang-Yishun Bus Package in 2021.
Service 975A (1st Gen) (12 May 2014 – 26 Oct 2018): Bt Panjang Int → Lor Rusuk (Aft Old Lim Chu Rang Rd)
- The 1st generation of Short Trip 975A catered to high peak hour demand between Bukit Panjang, Choa Chu Kang and key military installations and migrant worker dormitories along Old Choa Chu Kang Road. These trips were subsequently replaced by additional trips of Short Trip 975B during weekday peak hours.
Service 991C (26 Oct 2020 – 14 Nov 2025): Choa Chu Kang Ave 3 (Opp Blk 464) → Bt Batok West Ave 5 (Bt Gombak Stn)
- Short Trip 991C catered to high peak hour demand between Choa Chu Kang, Brickland and Bukit Gombak MRT station, before being subsequently replaced by the new limited-stop peak period Bus Service 451 under the Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP).
Short Trip 992A (24 Sep 2023 – 20 Jul 2024): Bt Batok Int → Tengah Blvd (Blk 132B)
- Introduced when Bus Service 992 initially looped at Plantation Crescent and later Tengah Boulevard in 2023, Short Trip 992A operated halfway trips from Bukit Batok which terminated at Tengah, catering to late-night unidirectional demand.
- After Bus Service 992 was amended to Tengah Bus Interchange in 2024, these trips were reverted back to their parent service.
