Bus route diversions and train service extensions for the 
FORMULA 1 2018 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX
12 September – 17 September 2018

The FORMULA 1 2018 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX returns to Singapore from 14 September – 16 September 2018. Similar to past years, road closure will take place over six days, the largest series of road closures every year.

Affected roads will be closed from 12 September (Wednesday) at 12:01 am to facilitate the set up of race infrastructure.  After the race is completed, affected roads will reopen progressively and all roads will be fully accessible by 18 September (Tuesday) at 5:30 am onwards.

    This road diversion map is 100% not user friendly. If people cannot understand and have no means of assessing internet to read which buses are diverted where and where can they find alternative bus stops then what’s the point?? Also, bus drivers at raffles hotel provide misinformation about other bus services. The wait at raffles hotel for bus 100 was more than 35 minutes and obviously still no bus arrived.

    All buses with route diversions have configured Trapeze CFMS route information with updated distances (including those looping in the area) and temporary calling stops. EDS still as per normal.

    eg. Service 960 distance travelled is 31.8km at Raffles Town Club bus stop instead of 7.1km (the usual)

    It will skip Suntec City bus stop from 12-14 and 17 September from 5.30am to 9.30am. You can alight at Capitol Bldg bus stop and walk to Marina Sq via CityLink Mall (enter City Hall MRT Stn) or via Raffles City underpass (enter Raffles City Basement 2).

    If you want minimal walking, you can alternatively alight at Dhoby Ghaut Stn bus stop and take the Circle Line to Esplanade MRT Stn.

    May I check from 12 – 17 Sep 2018, will Bus 14E stop at the bus stop outside Suntec (heading to town) between 8 am to 8.30 am? If not, which bus stop can I alight if I am going to Marina Square?
