Bus Route Diversions and Train Service Extensions for the 
FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2026
7 – 11 October 2026

The FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2026 returns to Singapore from 9–11 October 2026. Similar to past years, road closures will take place over six days.

Affected roads will be closed from 7 October 2026 (Wednesday) at 12:01 am to facilitate the set-up of race infrastructure. After the event, affected roads will reopen progressively, and all roads will be fully accessible by 13 October 2026 (Tuesday) at 5:30 am. Some roads will also be opened during peak hours to facilitate peak-hour commuting patterns.

Bus services will start skipping bus stop 02111 – Esplanade Bridge along Esplanade Drive from 6 October 2026 (Tuesday) till 12 October 2026 (Monday).

In addition, bus services are already skipping bus stop 02051 – The Float @ Marina Bay along Raffles Avenue from 4 August 2026 (Tuesday) till 12 October 2026 (Monday) for F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026 Preparation.

Travelling Tips during the F1 period:

  • Commuters are advised to take public transport to reach the Marina Centre and City areas.
  • If relying on public bus services, familiarise oneself with diversion routes and alternative bus boarding/alighting stops along the diverted roads
  • Plan for additional travel time. Road congestion is expected around the circuit park, and next bus arrival timings will not be available.
  • Approach bus drivers or interchange offices for more information on road and bus stop closures.
  • Inform bus drivers out of goodwill if one decides to alight at bus stops along the diversion route.
